After watching two episodes that are out so far, I can see this show is quite a strange spectacle. From what I have gathered, it has a narrative based on characters in the anime creator’s videos and clips. However, I did not find that as intriguing as the fact that some of the producers from WIT Studio are involved, so I had high expectations for the visual aspect. So, like some of the background art, it looks pretty nice; it even has one small, respectably animated fight. However, getting used to the animation style, where many shots look like screens from a storyboard accompanied by voice-overs and a lot of outrageous editing, was not my thing. I was also quite lost initially, as I was not familiar with the anime creator’s previous videos. It meant that I felt like I was thrown into the narrative without any significant exposition, although it got better as it went on. Even the screenplay was not completely pointless, or rather the setting and the potential of what could be done with more elaboration. The characters seem to be pretty promising so far too. So I am watching to see what it turns out to be in the end; I am feeling quite intrigued and might even be quite interested in a full-length feature anime movie or series. So far, I think this deserves 5.5/10. ()
