What could have been a great comedy ended up as pure romance, and honestly, with the chosen cast, I wasn't ready for that, nor was I interested. Zac Efron clearly knew what he was doing, but the script didn't allow him to go beyond the confines of the romantic genre. Unfortunately, it leaned heavily into the romance, leaving little room for the comedic potential. ()
A below-average romantic comedy, typical for Netflix. Joey King and Zac Efron are terrible, while Nicole Kidman and Kathy Bates are just wasting their talent here. ()
