Manchester United would rather sign Leicester star James Maddison over Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen, reports say. The duo are both admired by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is seeking an upgrade on his current playmakers.

Meanwhile, speaking recently, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson urged Maddison to stay at Leicester and snub United’s advances.
And that’s because of how the Foxes have flourished under Brendan Rodgers this season.
“Leicester have got a real opportunity to finish above Manchester United in the table,” the former Tottenham goalkeeper told Sky Sports News.
“They’re Premier League winners in recent times. They’ve got a good, young squad. They’ve got a very good manager.
“The signs at Leicester at the moment are a lot more positive than they are at Old Trafford.

“He’s got an opportunity to potentially play Champions League football with Leicester.
“He’s got an opportunity to be part of something that is growing, that is building.
“Leicester at the moment look more than likely to finish higher than Manchester United and many others in the Premier League this year.”
Eriksen is available for nothing at the end of the campaign.
But United would face interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus when it comes to landing the Denmark international.
