Carabao Cup draw: When is it? What TV channel is it on? Ball numbers confirmed
Find out when the Carabao Cup draw for the third round takes place and how to watch it on TV.
The Carabao Cup is in full swing as Premier League clubs joined the fray in the second round.
Clubs competing in European competitions were not involved but they will be included in the third round draw.
The Carabao Cup has already seen some ‘giant-killing’ as League Two sides Crawly and Colchester got the better of Norwich and Crystal Palace respectively.
The Canaries made 11 changes to their line-up but a Beryly Lubala strike was enough to send Crawley through to the third round for only the second time in their history.
Colchester, meanwhile, held Palace to a goalless draw at Selhurst Park before emerging as 5-4 winners on penalties.
Grimsby Town and Macclesfield Town will have to replay their tie after heavy rainfall waterlogged the pitch at Blundell Park.
The match was goalless when referee Darren Drysdale called it off.
"I think in the end it was the right decision," said Grimsby boss Michael Jolley.
"We were hopeful that the rain might stop and it might improve, but every time the referee came out to the pitch it got worse. No complaints."
Elsewhere, Championship leaders Leeds were also beaten on penalties by bottom club Stoke.
