Afghan workers are slaughtered
TALIBAN fanatics killed nine workers and a policeman when they raided a construction camp in Afghanistan’s western Herat province yesterday firing rocket-propelled grenades and automatic weapons.
In a separate attack five members of the same family died in a roadside bomb blast in the south of the country.
The construction workers who were murdered in the midnight raid were building a 32-mile road funded by Germany.
