Prince Harry "won't walk away" from the UK because of this key sign, a royal butler has claimed.
Royal butler Grant Harrold has said that the Duke of Sussex will be looking to spend more time in his home country after the announcement Invictus Games 2027 will be held in Birmingham.
He also suggested that Harry could move back to the UK.
According to Grant, the Games will cause Harry to “increase his time in the UK”, while he also “wouldn’t rule out Harry moving back”.
Speaking to Slingo, Grant, who previously worked for King Charles for seven years as part of his household, also claimed that having the Games in the UK shows that Harry is “proud to be British, and I still think he is proud of his family too".

In terms of what this will look like in the broader royal landscape, Grant argued that, “the family will definitely support him with this”, predicting that it is “certainly possible” that his brother and his father will attend the games too.
He added: “I think Harry will be looking to increase his time in the UK. I heard he may be looking for a house too, which doesn’t surprise me. His whole life was based in the UK for so many years, and to get up and walk away from that is simply impossible.
"There may be a part within him that may resent that he has gone away and given up his home.
“He’ll also know what’s been going on with his father, his sister in law and also his friends. Part of him is probably saying because of these, he will need to keep his contacts in the UK.

“It doesn’t surprise me that he is happy to bring the Invictus games to the UK. It means that in the build up to the event, he will be spending a lot more time in his home country. Having it here will mean a lot to him.
"He is proud to be British, and I still think he is proud of his family too. His grandmother also supported the Invictus games.
“To come back to his home to see the games here will therefore mean a lot to him. Members of the family will also definitely support him with this. As it is in the UK, it will be nice to think his father and brother will attend, and it is certainly possible that they will.
“I also wouldn’t rule out Harry moving back to the UK. His relationship seems stable, and as originally planned, he may want to spend some time here as well as in the States. It’s quite possible he will spend some time across both places.”
