The Princess of Wales is known for her eye-catching fashion choices, but her very-natural make-up look has recently become hot topic also.

Most recently fans have began to notice her "fresh-faced" look, with many noticing a change in her choice of lipstick shade.

Princess Kate, 42, often goes for a minimal look and is known for doing her own make-up for her regular royal engagements.

Speaking previously to Express.co.uk, Sarah Amelia Fogg - who is a celebrity make-up artist and owner of award-winning brow brand Brows by Sarah - discussed Kate's subtle change.

Kate typically likes to focus on her eyes, most known for opting for a smokey eye look.

The busy mother-of-three tends to keep the rest of her face very natural, going for some slight blush on her cheeks and a bare lip.

Although she has been known to keep her lips bare, Kate has recently been seen with a pink/coral lip colour - enhanced with a lip gloss.

After reviewing some recent pictures of Kate, Sarah told Express.co.uk: "Bold lips always add depth and glam to any look. Kate tends to opt for a pop of pink that isn’t too in your face.

"She tends to choose a subtle shade of pink that complements her skin tone perfectly without drawing too much attention away from the rest of the face of makeup."

He added: "Pink lipstick can also make your lips appear plumper and fuller as well as making you look fresh-faced and more awake compared to a nude or no lipstick at all.

"As Kate has amazing, porcelain-like skin, I think a nude could possibly have washed her out."

Speaking about lipstick, Sarah continued: "When choosing the right lipstick for you, it is important to ensure that it stands out against the rest of your skin as the contrast is what creates the added depth to your look.

"If your lip product blends in, it can make you look tired and can even age you."

For her down moments, such as the school run for her three little ones, Kate is known to wear "very little make-up" in order to blend in amongst other parents.

A friend previously spoke to the Daily Record about Kate on the school run, revealing: "There are no blow-dries - it's always hair up in a ponytail.

"She's either in her gym clothes, or a dress and sneakers, very little makeup, apologising as she's late for the school run before dashing off. It's the life of a working mum with three young children - just a different sort of day job to most."
