Remove grease and grime from oven glass using 'magic' kitchen item - it's not baking soda
Cleaning oven door glass is important as it helps prevent a buildup of grime and grease. Ovens need to be cleaned once every three months to keep them working efficiently.
Over time, oven glass can become splattered with grease, grime and food debris.
If oven glass is not regularly cleaned, this can cause unpleasant smells to linger which can eventually impact the flavour of your food.
With this in mind, fans of cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch have shared their go-to method for cleaning oven doors using a well-known kitchen item - and it's not baking soda or white vinegar.
Angela Ormerod posted on the Facebook group, 'Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips': "This question has probably been asked so many times but I am looking for the best product to clean the glass on oven doors.
"We have a self-cleaning function on our oven but the glass is never clean. We have taken it out and put it through the dishwasher and it is still very marked. Thank you."

The post was inundated with comments but the most suggested solution was to use The Pink Stuff Miracle Cleaning Paste.

The "miracle" cleaning paste can be bought online and from most local supermarkets.
Tesco sells the cleaning item for £1.50, Asda for £1.49 and Morrisons for £1.50.
Other suggestions from Mrs Hinch fans include using a dishwasher tablet, Oven Pride and baking soda.
Tricia Baigrie said: "Dishwasher tablet - wet the glass then rub the dishwater tablet over it then use a wee scrubby pad to agitate this and voila, the glass should be clean (depending on how bad it is, you may have to do this twice).
"I buy cheap dishwater tablets from B&M."
Laura Pickersgill commented: "I put mine in the Oven Pride bag overnight.
"May take a couple of attempts the first time. If you do it regularly, it should just rinse off."
Lavinia Blackman replied: "Baking soda with a little water mixed to a paste. Smear all over, leave a while then wipe off with a cloth if still marked. Use a scraper."
