As a start up company, can I get a line of credit to use Expeditors' services?

Yes, while certain requirements do apply, we can extend credit through an application process designed specifically for start up companies. Please contact your Expeditors representative for details.

I don't have systems in place to keep track of shipments, customs information, do performance reporting, etc. Can Expeditors provide those tools?

Yes, we have a robust systems platform with customer-facing applications that include order management, shipment booking, tracking & tracing, reporting, and analytics. We also have applications to maintain master item-level compliance information, perform supply chain modeling (aka digital twin), and other vital functions. We have technology solutions to meet your needs in any stage of growth.

Will I have a dedicated account manager who can address my needs?

Yes, as a member of our start up shippers program, you will have a single point of contact available to you, in your area, for all of your needs. From booking a shipment, locating a container, answering a billing question, or anything else, you and your colleagues will have one person to call.

Does the program include access to education opportunities and information to increase my knowledge of logistics?

As a member of the program, you will have access to all of the information and news that we provide to our entire customer base. In addition, you will have access to educational opportunities, like classes and seminars, held at our offices or yours. If you purchase the Logistics Start Up Kit, you will also receive exclusive complimentary access to seminars on special topics such as INCOTERMS, import compliance, classification, export controls, risk management, etc. Start Up Kit customers will also have access to support and coaching to review your processes and recommend the right combination of logistics consulting services.

Can Expeditors help me develop and launch new products?

Yes. Through our compliance consulting subsidiary, Tradewin, we can help you review products under development for issues like materials, classification, packing, source, country of origin, etc. to help you understand the import, export, and transportation implications, as well as your landed cost. Tradewin’s services are included in the Logistics Start Up Kit and can also be engaged separately.
