Martha Stewart doesn't marvel at Ryan Reynolds' jokes.
The media mogul revealed that she doesn't think the Deadpool star's comedic timing in movies translates to real life.
“You want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life,” Martha shared during an appearance on Bilt Rewards' Rent Free game show. “No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.”
And the 83-year-old certainly has some insight into his off-screen personality. After all, Ryan and his wife Blake Lively have a home near her Bedford, New York, farm.
“I’m going to get in trouble,” she quipped. “He’s my neighbor.”
And while Ryan doesn't get any laughs from Martha in casual conversation, she admitted he's got a talent for making moviegoers smile.
“He’s a good actor,” the culinary icon acknowledged. “He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again."
And it's not like Martha has no sense of humor at all. For starters, she shared she does get a kick out of spending time with her longtime pal Snoop Dogg and thinks Blake and Ryan's BFF Taylor Swift is "lovely." Plus, she admires Brad Pitt and George Clooney's comedy skills, noting, “I’d like to hang out with those guys."
“George Clooney, ‘cause he’s fun," she added. "George is really nice to hang out with.”
As for Ryan? He's found other ways to bond with his neighbor. In fact, Blake previously shared that Martha and her husband of 12 years enjoy riding motorcycles together.
"When we met," the It Ends With Us star recalled while on stage at the 2015 American Made Summit, "Martha was like, 'Well, I know how to ride motorcycles. I'll ride with you, Ryan.'"
And Blake was completely supportive of their adventures. Quipping that the subject of Netflix's Martha was the "only woman that could creep up on my man," she added, "I was like, 'Go, go, go, we need this!'"
