Spotted: Gossip Girl alum Taylor Momsen working it in a decidedly not demure pasties-and-printed pants ensemble at KidSuper’s Funny Business Volume III Comedy Fashion Show.
As if we need further proof she's further left her days as Little J in the past.
Just 14 when she was cast as Dan Humphrey's desperate-to-belong little sis Jenny, the child actress ditched the plaid skirts and statement necklaces for good during the CW hit's fourth series, not long after forming her rock band The Pretty Reckless.
"I quit everything else and just focused on music,” she told E! News back in May of leaving acting behind at age 18. “It was the best decision I ever made, because it's my true passion."
Of course by then, the series—which premiered in September 2007—had already become a pop culture phenomenon, influencing style (didn't it seem like every girl suddenly was wearing headbands and colorful tights?), vernacular (OMFG!) and, of course, making major stars out of its young cast.
GG's crew—Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, Jessica Szohr and Momsen—became big effin' deals, with Sebastian Stan and Hilary Duff eventually hitting the Upper East Side to join in on the fun over the show's six-season run.
And, yes, they were all spotted out together, both Badgley and Lively and Westwick and Szohr dating throughout their time on the series. With so many attractive actors in one space, hookups were bound to happen, Crawford reasoned during a 2024 appearance on Call Her Daddy, noting, 'It was like our college experience."
And while an HBO Max reboot found its own fanbase for two seasons starting in 2021, you know you still love the OG stars, XOXO.
Curious what they've been up to since leaving the steps of the Met? Well, that's one secret we're more than happy to tell.
Keep reading to check out which stars are still steaming up the small screens and who told their forever partner those three words, eight letters.
