Coronation Street spoilers follow from Thursday's episode (January 9), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn't yet aired on ITV1.
Coronation Street star Luca Toolan has reappeared on the show just three days after his dramatic exit.
The actor briefly reprises his role as Mason Radcliffe in Thursday's episode as a traumatised Abi Webster experiences a haunting vision.
Abi appears to be struggling with her mental health after witnessing Mason's final moments earlier this week.
After Mason was stabbed by his brothers Matty and Logan at the Weatherfield Precinct, Abi rushed over to help him and called an ambulance. Tragically, Mason died from his injury after being admitted to hospital.

The incident has brought back bad memories for Abi, as her son Seb Franklin was murdered in a hate crime attack in 2021.
In Thursday's episode, Abi's concerns intensify after her young son Alfie briefly goes missing in the play area at the precinct.
Although Alfie is returned safely by Toyah Battersby, Abi starts to worry about the possibility of something bad happening to him too.
Later, Abi spends more time in Seb's memorial garden but is horrified to experience a frightening hallucination of Mason. Fans can watch these scenes on ITV1 tonight or on ITVX right now.

Earlier this week, Sally Carman – who plays Abi – revealed that Harry Visinoni has also returned to the soap for upcoming scenes which see her character experience visions of Seb.
Sally told Inside Soap: "Those scenes are so powerful, it's as if he has died all over again. Harry returned to film it, and basically, Abi sees Seb as if he's just been attacked.
"It's so very sad but there are also some beautiful moments that are really moving, they broke my heart."

Coronation Street's producer Kate Brooks has previously tipped Abi as one of the main characters to watch out for in 2025.
She recently told Digital Spy and other press: "[Abi and Kevin's marriage] is going to be truly tested.
"Abi is going through her own situation as she struggles with the aftermath of a big event that happens in January. She loves Kevin and he loves her, but temptation comes Abi's way."
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
