Jesse Chadwick is set to become embroiled in Damon Hay's money mystery as he returns to Coronation Street.
After last being seen in the ITV soap in 2010, Jesse is back as part of Gail Platt's explosive exit storyline, and he's set to find himself at the centre of a heated family drama.
Bethany Platt is in hospital following a botched liposuction procedure in Turkey, which led to her developing sepsis.
Bethany was originally stuck in Turkey until they could pay for her medical bills, with Sarah's ex Damon reaching out to them to reveal he has a secret stash of money to help them.

But when his money goes missing from the lock-up, a furious Sarah is intent on finding out who is responsible.
She initially accuses Adam Barlow of stealing the money after he first kept the money's existence secret from his ex Sarah.
He assures her he had nothing to do with it, nor did Daniel Osbourne who was attempting to raise money to help Bethany and Sarah through a crowdfunding campaign.
Adam suggests that the most likely suspect is Damon's cousin who went to "check" on the stash - but could the culprit be closer to home?

At No.8, Jesse tells David Platt how he's rented a flat in Oakhill but is expecting a financial windfall, offering to help David work out how to buy No.8.
David is wary of Jesse's offer, especially as he reveals he's planning to take Gail on a trip to Whitby.
Sarah and David reckon he's acting strangely, but the conversation is cut by the arrival of an estate agent putting up a "for sale" sign.
They become more suspicious when Adam reveals Jesse may have overheard him and Daniel discussing Damon's money, with Sarah becoming convinced Jesse is behind the theft and enlists David to help her prove it.

But Sarah isn't convinced, despite David advising her to forget about it, and she follows him to Victoria Gardens when he hurries out of the pub. Is Jesse hiding something?
