Often imitated. Never duplicated. Highly anticipated. The new XPS 15 and XPS 17 are here! We’ve redesigned the XPS 15 and introduced an all-new XPS 17 with larger screen sizes so you can see and do more.

While these new additions to the XPS family offer beautiful new designs and the latest technology innovations, there’s much more to XPS than meets the eye. It’s every little detail that makes up the entire XPS experience.

After a near 10-year hiatus, the XPS 17 returns as the most powerful XPS laptop ever.1 But it’s not just about muscle, the XPS 17 is also the smallest 17-inch laptop on the planet2. The virtually borderless, 4-sided InfinityEdge display makes it smaller than 48% of 15-inch laptops available today3, putting the XPS 17 into a class of its own.

More power for your creative projects

Intensive projects, gaming and VR are no match for the XPS 17

Designed to be the most powerful XPS laptop ever made, the XPS 17 features the latest 10th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics. Packing this much performance into a laptop of this size requires engineering ingenuity to keep the system performing smoothly. Under the hood, we’ve packed a unique thermal design for increased fan airflow4 to fuel demanding projects.

The redesigned XPS 15 is the smallest 15.6-inch performance class laptop5. But don’t let this compact footprint fool you! It’s got an immersive audiovisual experience like no other in its class, thanks to a larger 16:10 display and new up-firing speakers.

XPS 15 strikes a balance between power and portability to fuel content creation at home or on-the-go

With the latest 10th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics with Max-Q design and up to 25-hour battery life6, you can easily stream your favorite shows, edits photos for Instagram, render 4K videos or create original sounds and textures on your DAW.

New experiential features extended across XPS 15 and 17

Masterfully crafted from premium materials like CNC machined aluminum and aerospace-inspired carbon fiber. (XPS 17 pictured above)

The XPS 15 and 17 are crafted from two pieces of machined aluminum, so they’re lightweight, yet strong and durable for folks on the move. We also designed a new hinge to make room for the new stunning 4-sided InfinityEdge display.

Stunning color accuracy

100% Adobe RGB and 94% DCI P3 color gamut delivers saturated, bright and accurate color

Whether creating content or consuming it, the XPS systems have your back with immersive  visuals. Optional 4K Ultra HD+ (3840 x 2400) resolution provides pinpoint accuracy, precise detail and sharp images. And the XPS equipped with Eyesafe display technology reduces harmful blue light while maintaining the vivid color you need to deliver your best work.

 Ready to collaborate securely

Designed into the new XPS is MaxxAudio® Pro by Waves, the suite of studio-quality audio and voice optimizations

Our smallest ever HD webcam is discretely hidden at the top of the display, ready at your command for video meet-ups and virtual get-togethers. You’ll come across loud and clear thanks to top-mounted mics with advanced echo cancellation and noise reduction technologies.

To make sure you’re not running late to virtual hangouts with friends and family, the XPS family features Windows Hello – a fingerprint reader built right into the power button – so you can safely unlock your PC and get to visiting without entering a password.

Surround sound 3D audio

XPS 15 and 17 audio architecture are tuned by multi-Grammy Award® winning producer, Jack Joseph Puig

XPS 15 and 17 are the first-ever laptops7 featuring Waves Nx® 3D audio for speakers tuned by multi-Grammy Award® winning producer, Jack Joseph Puig. On headphones, Waves Nx® can track your head movement to align the direction of sound to your visual point-of-view, and on speakers, Nx® headtracking puts you in the best seat of the house.

XPS sustainable packaging becomes more recyclable

Every XPS 13, 15 and 17 arrives wrapped in a gift-box style package made from sustainably sourced materials (XPS 13 pictured above)

On a planet with almost eight billion people, every action we take makes an impact. Dell has set a goal of using 100% sustainable packaging by 2030, made from recycled or renewable material. We have eliminated foam and single-use plastic bags8 with the new XPS family, getting us steps closer to that Moonshot Goal. You can toss the entire XPS box in the recycling bin without thinking twice since it contains recycled ocean-bound plastics, locally recycled plastic, sustainable materials and recycled corrugate.
