Frisco Lone Star’s Bryson Jones, a three-star receiver, commits to Texas Tech

The rising senior chose Texas Tech over offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and others.

Another D-FW talent will play power-conference football come 2025.

Frisco Lone Star receiver Bryson Jones committed to Texas Tech on Monday, choosing the Red Raiders over offers from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Oklahoma State and others.

A three-star recruit according to 247Sports, Jones announced his commitment after taking an official visit over the weekend. At 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, Jones has the physical tools to complement the skillset that earned him 1,092 yards and 15 touchdowns on 17.1 yards per reception in his junior year.

The season earned him All-State honorable mention honors from the Texas Sports Writers Association. He was also named to the District 6-5A First Team.

Jones is Texas Tech’s third wide receiver from the Class of 2025 to commit so far, as the Red Raiders look to build talent around 2024 starting quarterback Behren Morton.
