00:00Is it raining? Oh, c'est pas possible. What is it?
00:05You speak French?
00:06Non, c'est pas possible.
00:15Bonjour, Vogue. We're in Paris. We out here shopping for Oui.
00:21We're actually here getting ready for the Balenciaga Spring Summer Show,
00:26which I'm really excited about because I love spring summer collections.
00:31They always have joy in them, light in them.
00:35They're a bit sexy because there's less, like, fabric typically to keep you warm.
00:42It's really my cup of tea.
00:43I'm going to the show with my friend Kim Petras.
00:46We have a song that just came out.
00:48And then we're going to run amok around town afterwards.
00:52That is if I don't fall asleep.
00:57This is my team.
00:59Here we have Hang. He's the master of the face.
01:02And Andrew, the master of the hair.
01:05And Mo, the master of the nails.
01:08And they are all transforming me because I just got off of a flight from Australia.
01:15And I have no concept of what time is or the day.
01:20Clem, full face makeup, but looks like she has no makeup.
01:25I know that's the craziest part is he will do my face for three hours,
01:30but it'll feel like I just woke up.
01:31No makeup, makeup with a lot of makeup.
01:33Great.
01:34Does it make sense?
01:35Well, yeah, I want my money's worth.
01:37She's expensive.
01:39I haven't seen Katie since COVID, but we used to work together quite a lot, actually.
01:44We're united today.
01:46Yes, the gods opened the clouds and sent Hang.
01:51One of my secrets is that I can stay watching all of the makeup artists with one eye.
02:00I've trained myself so that they always know I'm watching.
02:10The first thing I do when I get to Paris, it depends.
02:15It depends on what I'm coming here for.
02:18But I love a hotel room.
02:20And I walked into the room and there was a chocolate Eiffel Tower.
02:26So I bit the top off of it just to make sure it was chocolate.
02:30And I showed it to my daughter and she loved it.
02:33I'm really excited about my outfit because it is very representative of how I feel
02:43and see myself in the world stylistically,
02:46which is still maintaining a sense of humor and irony and sarcasm,
02:53but on a very high, chic, streamlined level.
03:01So today I'm wearing what looks like a couple of duffel bags reconfigured for my body.
03:06And that's what I love about Balenciaga.
03:08They have a sense of humor that like they are very self-deprecating
03:11and they like to lean into the opposite.
03:15But in a very dark, dark sense of humor way, which is very me.
03:22I'm not making much sense because I haven't had much sleep.
03:25So I will take that latte.
03:31Everyone's asleep in there.
03:32Look at these nails.
03:34They're magnetic, but they're matte.
03:37They have a small sheen on them.
03:39For the hair, what we're doing is we're maintaining Katie's length
03:43and the length of her hair is absolutely stunning and gorgeous.
03:46It's a statement within itself.
03:48It's pretty long.
03:49It's long and it's gorgeous.
03:51And so what we're doing is we're giving her a flat iron press
03:54to give a natural 90s kind of messy texture like it's worn in.
03:59It's been lived in a little bit.
04:03Why are you using this string, Andrew?
04:06To take down her volume.
04:08To make it flatter to my head.
04:10Exactly.
04:11You can pull it up at the same time.
04:14Kind of.
04:16I don't necessarily need it.
04:17No, your face is so snatched right now.
04:19Your face is snatched.
04:21Orlando's going to have fun trying to cut this out of my head when I get home.
04:29So I've worked with Tatiana Waterford for about four years
04:33and she's been great.
04:34And she's really helped me streamline.
04:37She's got a strong opinion and I've got a strong opinion
04:39and so we duke it out.
04:42I feel like my style has evolved a lot,
04:45especially in the past five years.
04:51I can still have a sense of humor
04:53and it's nice to bring it up a level.
04:57I feel like it's a little bit more grounded.
04:59I'm more streamlined.
05:01And I'm an edge-of-your-seat kind of girl.
05:03I like to keep them there, you know?
05:06Surprise is the best form of attack.
05:09Oh, this is what I'm wearing.
05:11I'm not going to wear a purse, but it has a lot of pockets.
05:13And I was thinking maybe I put some things in the pockets.
05:17I'll bring a touch-up to be in there.
05:20Maybe I'll put a macaroon in there.
05:26All right.
05:27Okay, next time you see me, I'll be in Balenci.
05:35And here I am.
05:37It's in the bag.
05:41I feel great in it.
05:43It feels like I've just come straight from the airport
05:47and I am my luggage.
05:49The details are fantastic.
05:51I'm not going to bring a purse
05:53because I can actually pack my brassiere as the purse.
05:58So I'll be pulling things out of my dress all evening.
06:03These are my lipsticks.
06:06I'll put my phone in here.
06:08Macaroon.
06:10Luggage.
06:17What do you think?
06:19Oh, my God, you look gorgeous.
06:21Gorgeous.
06:23Hi, Queen.
06:25You look so cute. How do you feel?
06:27Amazing. I'm so excited.
06:29It's my first Balenciaga show.
06:31Nothing like the first time.
06:33We have a song together called Gorgeous.
06:35And it's one of the best verses I've ever heard from anyone.
06:40And it's one of those ones where you just turn into it and you're gorgeous.
06:45It's a reveal song.
06:47It's like the before and after song.
06:49Da Vinci, da Vinci, my body.
06:51Pass me a shotty.
06:52Don't want the cup. Pass me the shotty.
06:54We are ready to go to Balenciaga.
06:56So ready.
06:57Thank you, Vogue. We love you.
06:59Thanks, Vogue.
07:00Be gorgeous.
07:01Yeah, get gorgeous.
07:02So gorgeous.
07:03With us. You are gorgeous.
07:04You are gorgeous.
07:06Hi.
07:07How are you?
07:08Hi.
