Tahfiz students must be equipped to face Islamophobia, says PM

Speaking at the 24K Huffaz Gathering held at the Federal Territory Mosque in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (Sept 14), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said students who are huffaz (Quran memorisers) must be equipped with true Islamic teachings to prepare them to face groups that are Islamophobia and those who saw hatred through Islam in the country. 00:04It is an opportunity to gather the hufaas

00:09to plant the spirit

00:14and also to give hope.

00:18We have to remember,

00:20don't we memorize

00:22among the early hadiths that all of us

00:29are powerful and great.

00:38But the practice is hatred.

00:41And Islam is seen as a religion that is scary.

00:45Islam is a religion of mercy,

00:48love,

00:50especially in this country, Malaysia.

00:53There are Muslims and non-Muslims.

00:56What is the best example?

00:59That we can open.

01:01The basics, yes.

01:04The programs, yes.

01:07But the best example is the two hasanah.

01:11The children are given together,

01:13continue to grow in our practice.

01:18Believe that in the future,

01:21God willing, it will flourish.

01:23Steadfast in our judgment

01:25that this message of Islam is a message of truth.

01:29This message of Islam is a message of justice.

01:33This message of Islam is a message that unites

01:38and is full of mercy, love, and affection.

01:41Don't he bring a western view,

01:47Islamophobia.

01:49I hate it, I can't mention Islam.

01:52As good as Islam has become like ISIS and Al-Qaeda.

01:56That's one side.

01:58And we have to move forward.

02:00That's why the children of the Huffaz must be ready

02:03to dominate the real Islam.

02:06This is another side

02:09that brings Islam with full of hatred.

02:14Everyone else is bad.

02:17All these groups of bad guys.

02:21If you see Dato Zizahid,

02:23there is no other view, everyone is bad.

02:26There is no goodness.

02:28If the government, everyone is bad.

02:31Only the tribes and their groups are good.

02:35Ladies and gentlemen, save our country

02:38by bringing the message of good Islam.
