00:04 This is our update for the upcoming 24 hours.

00:09 We can see here in our latest satellite images the approaching clouds in the eastern part of Mindanao.

00:17 These clouds are the effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone

00:22 or the flow of wind from the northern and southern hemisphere.

00:27 So in those mentioned areas, let's expect a chance of rain throughout the day.

00:32 The other 10 parts of our country, including Metro Manila,

00:36 will continue to have generally fair weather conditions

00:39 aside from the chance of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms.

00:44 And in the eastern part, the hot wind from the Pacific Ocean

00:49 is affecting a large part of our country.

00:52 At the moment, we are not yet monitoring any low-pressure areas or weather conditions

00:57 inside and outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility

01:00 that could affect our country in the coming days.

01:05 And for the current weather conditions in the Luzon,

01:09 we have reported thunderstorms or rain showers in some parts of Cagayan Valley.

01:16 We expect that these rain showers will be temporary.

01:20 For the rest of the day, we will continue to have fair weather conditions

01:24 in a large part of the Luzon.

01:26 It will be hot and humid,

01:28 aside from the chance of isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms

01:38 The maximum temperature today here in the area

01:41 is possible to reach 34 degrees Celsius.

01:44 38 degrees here in Tagagaraw and 27 degrees Celsius in Baguio City.

01:50 The maximum temperature in Metro Manila today is possible to reach 37 degrees Celsius

01:55 and 33 degrees here in the areas of Tagaytay and Legazpi City.

02:00 In the areas of Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao,

02:04 the eastern section of Mindanao in those areas of Caraga and Davao Region,

02:10 due to the effect of the ITCZ, we will experience heavy rainfall and lightning.
