The cars
While they come from different parts of the world, these two luxury people chariots aim for the same thing – moving people in luxury and style. Despite its portly 2660kg kerb weight before options and Mansory kit, the Cullinan is still lighter than the 2870kg 009.
Zeekr 009
Available either as a six- or seven-seater, the Zeekr 009 a fully electric people mover. Zeekr sits under the Geely umbrella, along with brands like Volvo and Polestar.

It's powered by a pair of electric motors, producing 450kW of power and 693Nm of torque. While it's available in the one go-fast spec in Australia, it's offered overseas with an even more powerful dual-motor setup making a stupid 580kW of power and just over 800Nm of torque.
Priced from $135,900 before on-road costs in Australia, it's powered by a mammoth 116kWh battery pack.
Rolls-Royce Cullinan
'Man, I'm Sorry' – it's what it sounds like when you say Mansory ten times fast… It's also what a lot of people say when they see a Mansory-fettled car. This time the kit is fitted to a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the last car on earth you'd think would need some Mansory work done to it.

This particular car has a full Mansory body kit (along with interior enhancements), as well as a new exhaust system designed to help the V12 engine breathe better, and of course, it sits lower on 24-inch alloy wheels.
It uses a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged petrol V12 that produces 420kW of power and 850Nm of torque. It has eight on the tree – an eight-speed automatic transmission with column shifter – and has an official 0-100km/h acceleration time of 5.2 seconds. The Rolls costs around 10 times more than the Zeekr 009, just for reference.
The results
Well – this was way closer than we thought it was going to be. On paper, both cars are pretty well matched when it comes to acceleration times, but it's the Zeekr's electric drivetrain that just nudged it ahead of the Rolls-Royce.

The Zeekr will appear in another drag race with a competitor a little closer to home, so keep an eye out for that one!
