The Eagle Sex Position Will Make Your Orgasms Soar
It's a tiny tweak to missionary that makes a *big* impact.

The eagle sex position is the kind of reliably good sex position that makes it worthy of joining your roster of go-to moves. In fact, you may already be doing it. (I mean, not right this second. More, like, in life.) The eagle is pretty much a wee tweak on missionary, but it’s such a game-changing tweak that it gets to be its own Official Sex Position. (* Pause for murmuring and applause. *)
“The eagle sex position is very similar to the missionary sex position, but the receiver has their legs wide in the air, rather than flat on the bed,” says sex and relationships expert at Mega Pleasure, Charlotte Johnson.
Why bother holding your legs up in the air when gravity wants them comfortably on the bed? Well, it’s all about the way you’re angled. “The positives of this sex position are how effective it can be for stimulating internal hot spots due to the angle of penetration. This can enhance pleasure for the receiving partner,” says Johnson. If you’re the one on the bottom, maximize the stimulation by making sure your partner’s penis or strap-on is rubbing against the upper wall of your vagina. Aim for a firm, rhythmic stimulation. It’s also a great position for deep penetration. (If deep penetration is painful for you, please, step away from the eagle. Your cervix will thank you.)
For the less kinky among us, the eagle is a great starter tweak that “adds an element of flexibility and exploration to your sex life, encouraging couples to try new things and potentially discover new sensations,” says Johnson. “I would suggest experimenting gradually to allow partners to become comfortable and find their preferences.”
(Btw, if the eagle sounds familiar, it’s because it got internet famous after Curtis Pritchard said it was his favorite position on Love Island UK. IYKYK.)
