If your personal interests currently include Netflix's addictive new reality series Owning Manhattan, please be advised that the drama is still going strong off camera.

Turns out Jonathan Nørmølle is out here claiming that he was the mastermind behind his own firing from Serhant, telling the Daily Mail "I had a plan because I was under contract with Ryan and all the sponsorships. The only way I could get out of those contracts was if I got Ryan mad enough for him to fire me. And the only way I could do that is by saying all these things like; Ryan had done nothing when he was my age, whereas I have been on Forbes under 30."

He went on to brag add, "I made my first $100 million my first year in real estate. I was on the cover of Downtown Magazine, I was Rookie of the Year and I won most influential broker at Broker of the Year Awards. I went in on Ryan with all these things and he got upset enough to fire me on TV—and instantly these contracts were completely void."

Oh, AND he alleged that "Ryan has tried to hire me back three times at this point, so it really played out perfectly for me."

Meanwhile Ryan was asked about Jonathan's claims by Page Six, and said "I haven’t publicly commented. All I’ll say is I don’t fault anyone these days for trying to control their own narrative, but I think the facts tell a story and it’s almost like the facts were on a global Netflix TV show."

He also spoke about Jonathan's firing, saying "It’s so awkward. It wasn’t my intent. I don’t hire people with the intent to fire them. I didn’t hire any of the agents — who are actual real estate agents, who are actually at our company — with the intent to let them go. That was super uncomfortable."

Mmmkay then!
