Seahawks' Noah Fant: Gains 22 yards in defeat
Fant had three receptions (on four targets) for 22 yards in Sunday's 31-10 loss to Buffalo.
Fant finished in a tie for third in terms of targets in a game during which Seattle could do little on offense. The veteran tight end was coming off a pair of 60-plus yard performances, so there is some deep-league value to be had. Fant shouldn't be considered much more than that heading into a Week 9 matchup against the Rams next Sunday.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Elevated usage in win
Fant brought in all four targets for 65 yards in the Seahawks' 34-14 win over the Falcons on Sunday.
Fant finished tied for first in receptions and was second in receiving yards on the afternoon for the Seahawks. The veteran tight end was able to set a new season high in yardage in the process and now has three outings of 60-plus yards for the first time since the 2021 season. Fant could be involved at an elevated level again in a Week 8 home matchup against the Bills if DK Metcalf is forced to miss any time with the knee injury that prompted his exit from Sunday's game.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Best outing of season
Fant caught all six of his targets for 63 yards in Thursday's 36-24 loss to the 49ers.
This was Fant's second game with six receptions and 60-plus yards. In the other four games, the 2019 first-round pick failed to post more than 26 yards. It will be difficult to identify these bigger performances moving forward, but Fant should be a fine fantasy streamer when bye weeks surface.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Reels in three passes
Fant caught all three of his targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 29-20 loss to the Giants.
Fant is averaging just 27.2 receiving yards per game, and he hasn't found paydirt since the 2022 season. He's tough to depend on in any redraft format because of his limited and rare ceiling.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Good to go against G-Men
Fant (toe) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Giants, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Fant has been dealing with the toe issue all season but has yet to miss a game. His role, however, has diminished with the Seahawks using all three of Fant, Pharaoh Brown and AJ Barner at tight end. Fant has just 11 catches for 111 scoreless yards nearly a quarter of the way into the 2024 campaign.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Remains limited Thursday
Fant (toe) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
With back-to-back capped sessions to begin Week 5 prep, Fant has just one more chance to return to full participation Friday before the Seahawks potentially give him a designation for Sunday's contest versus the Giants. Despite the toe injury following him all season, he's been available for each of the team's four games, but his output (11-111-0 on 15 targets) has been lacking in an offense that features the NFL's leading passer in QB Geno Smith.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Limited again Wednesday
Fant (toe) was a limited participant at Wednesday's walkthrough, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Fant has endured a cap on his reps for at least one practice each week this season due to a toe issue, so his listing on the first Week 5 injury report comes as no surprise. He's been able to play through it, but the results (11-111-0 receiving line on 15 targets) have been minimal in an offense that boasts the NFL's leading passer (Geno Smith) through four weeks. In any case, Fant has two more sessions this week to put his injury behind him for Sunday's visit from the Giants.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Two catches in loss
Fant secured both of his targets for 26 yards in Monday's 42-29 loss to the Lions.
Fant continued his underwhelming start to the 2024 season, as the veteran has recorded just 11 catches for 111 yards through four weeks. Operating as the Seahawks' No. 1 tight end, the 26-year-old has not been a huge part of the offense, instead sharing tight end duties with Pharaoh Brown and AJ Barner, while Seattle's wide receivers and running backs soak up most of the targets from quarterback Geno Smith. Like most other tight ends in fantasy, Fant remains difficult to trust heading into a Week 5 matchup with the Giants.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: All set for Monday
Fant (toe) does not carry an injury designation into Monday's game against the Lions, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.
This was the expected outcome, but it's still a positive for the injury-ridden Seahawks. The veteran tight end was a trendy sleeper fantasy option entering the year, but he's tallied just 13 total targets across three games despite a relatively potent Seahawks passing attack. Game script could see Seattle playing catchup Monday, which might afford Fant a few more opportunities.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Remains limited Friday
Fant (toe) remained limited in Friday's practice, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
The toe injury is nothing new for the veteran tight end, and he's played through it all year to this point. Fant's fantasy stock gets a slight boost this week in what projects as a shootout at Ford Field against the Lions. On the season, Fant has a 9-85-0 line on 13 targets and is coming off a six-catch game in Week 3.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Limited Thursday
Fant (toe) was limited in practice Thursday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Fant has been tending to a toe injury all season, but he's been able to suit up for all three of the Seahawks' games, culminating in a 6-60-0 line on six targets during this past Sunday's win against the Dolphins. Such output easily surpassed the combined three catches (on seven targets) for 25 yards that he had in the first two contests, signaling volatility from week to week for fantasy purposes. In any case, Fant will have two more chances this week to prove his health before Seattle potentially hands him a designation for Monday's visit to the Lions.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Catches all targets for 60 yards
Fant (knee) had six receptions on as many targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 24-3 win over the Dolphins.
Fant carried an injury designation for his ailing knee prior to being cleared for Sunday's kickoff. This is a prime example of the need to scour for news leading up to kickoffs on Sundays. Savvy fantasy owners who kept Fant in their lineups were rewarded with a clean fantasy performance from the veteran tight end. Fant remains a steady option heading into a matchup against the Lions next Monday.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Cleared to face Dolphins
Fant (knee) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Fant's good to go, while backup Pharaoh Brown (knee) is listed as questionable. Despite handling at least 75 percent of the snaps on offense in both of Seattle's first two games, Fant has seen minimal involvement in the passing attack, catching just three of seven targets for 25 yards. He'll look to turn his significant playing time into more production Sunday against a Dolphins team that has allowed just 38 yards to tight ends through two games.

Seahawks' Noah Fant: Stays limited in practice
Fant (knee) was limited in Thursday's practice, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
For a third week in a row to kick off the season, Fant's toe injury has impacted his on-field work in advance of game day. In both Weeks 1 and 2, though, he entered the weekend without a designation, something that will be clarified, one way or another, when Seattle posts its final practice report of the week Friday ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Dolphins.
