  • Heat's Josh Richardson: Iffy for Wednesday

Richardson is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Knicks with a calf strain, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

After previously battling shoulder and heel injuries, Richardson is now considered day-to-day with this new issue. He wasn't on the injury report for Monday's game against the Pistons but never saw the floor, so his potential absence shouldn't impact Miami's rotation.

  • Heat's Kevin Love: Remains out

Love (personal) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Tim Reynolds of Associated Press reports.

Love has yet to play this season and remains away from the team due to personal reasons. Given the current trend, it seems unlikely the veteran will travel with the team to Washington for Saturday's game against the Wizards, but his status for that game won't be released until Friday.

  • Heat's Jimmy Butler: Leads Miami to win

Butler supplied 23 points (7-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-11 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and four steals across 34 minutes during Monday's 106-98 win over the Pistons.

Miami picked up their second straight win with Butler leading the team in scoring. Butler had a horrendous three-point dud on Opening Night, but he has responded with two strong games in a row. In that span, he produced averages of 24.5 points, 7.5 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals.

  • Heat's Thomas Bryant: Muted effort Monday

Bryant logged four points (1-4 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds over 13 minutes during Monday's 106-98 win over Detroit.

Bryant continues to play as the primary backup behind Bam Adebayo, playing limited minutes off the bench. He has been a non-factor to this point, offering nothing in the way of tangible production. Kel'el Ware put together a strong Summer League and preseason, which could eventually stand for something when it comes to who should be the backup center. While the position is currently Bryant's to lose, he is by no means a player managers need to concern themselves with.

  • Heat's Duncan Robinson: Quiet in victory Monday

Robinson ended with six points (2-8 FG, 2-7 3Pt) and one rebound over 16 minutes during Monday's 106-98 victory over Detroit.

Robinson was used sparingly off the bench, a trend that appears likely to stick moving forward. He has scored a combined 16 points over the first three games, making him a non-factor in most fantasy formats. Other than limited value as a three-point streamer, Robinson can be ignored for the time being.

  • Heat's Terry Rozier: Strong start continues in win

Rozier finished Monday's 106-98 win over Detroit with 20 points (7-16 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 33 minutes.

Rozier scored a season-high 20 points, continuing his promising start to the season. Across the first three games, he is averaging 19.3 points per game, adding 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 3.3 three-pointers. There is room to improve on the defensive end, where he is currently delivering just 0.3 steals per contest. Rozier was typically available in the 100 range during drafts, a position that looks as though could end up being a bargain.

  • Heat's Kevin Love: Out again for Monday

Love (personal) is out for Monday's game against the Pistons.

Love will miss another game as he remains away from the team due to personal reasons. Kel'el Ware and Thomas Bryant are likely to share minutes behind Bam Adebayo.

  • Heat's Kel'el Ware: Off injury report for Monday

Ware (illness) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game versus the Pistons.

Ware did not travel with the team to Charlotte on Saturday due to a stomach illness. However, he is expected to return after missing only one game. If Kevin Love (personal) is ruled out, Ware and Thomas Bryant will likely pick up the slack.

  • Heat's Josh Richardson: Not on report for Monday

Richardson (heel) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Pistons.

Richardson is expected to make his 2024-25 debut at home Monday after dealing with left heel inflammation. The 31-year-old was limited during training camp as well, though he is expected to serve as Tyler Herro's primary backup when he returns to game action.

  • Heat's Kevin Love: Questionable for Monday

Love (personal) is questionable for Monday's matchup against the Pistons.

Love has been away from the team due to a personal matter, though he could potentially make his return Monday at home. If the veteran misses additional time, both Thomas Bryant and Kel'el Ware are candidates for extra minutes behind Bam Adebayo.

  • Heat's Jaime Jaquez: Plays 22 minutes in win

Jaquez logged six points (2-4 FG, 2-2 3Pt), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 22 minutes during Saturday's 114-106 victory over the Hornets.

After averaging 28.2 minutes per game as a rookie, Jaquez has played 19 and 22 minutes, respectively, through the first two games this season. His all-around game is conducive to strong fantasy performances when he's afforded extended minutes, but given his current role, it'll be difficult for him to be fantasy-relevant in standard leagues.

  • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Drops six dimes in win

Jovic totaled 10 points (3-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 114-106 victory over Charlotte.

Jovic is off to a strong start as a full-time starter. Through two games, the third-year pro has totaled 25 points (10-22 FG), nine boards, seven dimes, three steals and one block. With Duncan Robinson and Jaime Jaquez coming off the bench, Jovic faces stiff competition for playing time, but for now, he's locked into starter-level minutes. The potential returns of Kevin Love (personal) and Kel'el Ware (illness) soon could also mean slightly fewer minutes for Jovic moving forward.

  • Heat's Jimmy Butler: Bounces back with all-around outing

Butler ended with 26 points (7-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 11-17 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and two steals in 37 minutes during Saturday's 114-106 win over the Hornets.

Butler's three-point performance in the season-opening loss to the Magic probably worried some fantasy managers, but the veteran bounced back in a big way versus Charlotte. He did most of his work at the free-throw line, but his 11-for-17 mark did more harm than good in category leagues. However, Butler has shot above 85 percent from the charity stripe in four straight seasons, so Saturday's effort looks like an outlier for now.

  • Heat's Josh Richardson: Ruled out to face Charlotte

Richardson (heel) is out for Saturday's game against the Hornets, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Richardson has yet to play this season due to left heel inflammation, and he doesn't have a clear timetable for his return, although it's seems his status is being analyzed on a game-to-game basis. His next chance to play will come against the Pistons on Monday.
