Xmas music at the Bandstand, well supported by the public and really enjoyable, both the Silver Band on Christmas Day morning which was a major part of my decision to come for Xmas, and the band on Boxing Day. The Proms are great for ambling and also for viewing the many dogs and their fashion wear, and the Pier nicely smartened up with a variety of food options, but particularly the lovely cafe. I didn’t get the hang of the bus routes, didn’t see any info at the hotel about ones nearby, but will have to come back in the summer to visit Beachy Head etc.

Nice seaside town.
Nice seaside town. Dying for a bit of investment to do up some of the run-down looking buildings & develop attractions. Not a great deal to do there besides going up on the downs or visiting nearby towns. Plenty of good food and nice pubs. Good for cycling.

Excellent location very near the pier, seafront and town centre. We had a Seaview room overlooking the pier. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. This is a basic hotel, so no frills, but a hairdryer was provided on request and there was tea/ coffee facilities. Beds were clean and comfortable and the room was serviced daily. A pleasant stay.
I had read a few reviews before visiting the Burlington so it was just about what I expected. A beautiful old fashioned hotel on a British seafront. It's clean and friendly, the food is good and the atmosphere fairly welcoming. A little run down but that doesn't get in the way. Eastbourne is lovely.
The breakfast was buffet style, and a good selection of hot and cold freshly prepared food.
The hotel is in a good location on the seafront, and close to the pier, and an easy walk to the town centre.
