I want to get out of my comfort zone and start drawing cartoons and Pokémon fan art. I was wondering if anyone had advice on what Pokémon would be best to draw to help me learn as a beginner. Jun 15, 2023 · I lost a game recently to someone who use Squawkabilly ex very effectively as a draw engine. As a basic Pokemon, it feels like it can get set up easier and I almost like the raw pull (draw 6) more than Bibarels draw till 5. If I clear out Bibarel-Bidoof I can stick two Squawkabilly in there, or even make room for a Lumineon.

The draw engine depends on what your goals are. Take my Raging Bolt ex deck. It uses Kirlia as the draw engine, as it attempts to send Psychic energy cards to the discard pile, so that way, Gardevoir ex can send it to Scream Tail so it can properly use its second attack, as well as let Raging Bolt attack without throwing away its own energy.

Also, general rule of thumb is that a minimum of 6 slots of your deck should be devoted to draw supporters (cards like Cheren, Juniper, etc.)
