Death driver who tried to hide victim’s body after crashing granted compassionate bail to visit grandmother

A driver who killed a 27-year-old woman then removed her body from the scene of the fatal crash was granted compassionate bail today.
Steven Cunningham — who is facing "a substantial sentence" for causing the death of Charlotte McHugh on the Comber Road in Dundonald in June 2021 — will be released from prison for a period tomorrow to allow him to visit his grandmother in hospital.
