Photography exhibition traces 40 years of social change in Hull

Some of the photos from the 1980s have been recreated
A new photography exhibition traces 40 years of life in west Hull.
George Norris and Russell Boyce started taking pictures of people and places in the former fishing community in the 1980s.
Their work features the local pubs and clubs as well as long-lost professions, such as horse-drawn rag-and-bone collectors.
In some cases they have gone back and photographed the same scenes in the present day.
Other themes in the You and Me in HU3 exhibition include how the community faced the housing and unemployment crises of the 1980s.
The pictures often show redevelopment in the area, especially of housing
Mr Norris said that photography was his "passion".
"I like to think that my pictures are both joyful and honest and that, with our exhibition You and me in HU3, people can relate to these pictures as much as I do," he said.
The exhibition runs from 8 February at the Humber Street Gallery in Hull Marina.
