Repair work along the island's east coast will cause "significant traffic delays" from Monday, according to the States of Guernsey.

The "essential work" to repair a section of coastal wall at Admiral Park will mean a single lane of traffic with temporary traffic lights in place on Les Banques.

The States has encouraged people to allow extra time for journeys or consider alternative routes.

The works are due to start on Monday and are scheduled to be completed by Tuesday 28 January, depending on tides.
