PeoplesBank Wins Best Local Bank for Eighth Time and Best Mortgage Lender for Tenth Time

HOLYOKE, MA (September 30, 2022) – The Springfield Republican’s readers have named PeoplesBank the Best Local Bank, for the eighth time, and the Best Mortgage Lender for the tenth time in the recent Reader Raves poll. 

According to President and CEO, Tom Senecal, PeoplesBank has been very public over the years about their recipe for success. “It’s really the culture we have built upon our charter as a mutual bank. We do not have to divert profits to stockholders. Therefore, we can instead invest in the community, including a record $1,315,000 in donations last year supported by thousands of hours of volunteering.”
