This case for ~$50 is less durable than your average $20 case. In the months during covid, when you are not out and about, when your phone is basically on your desk all day, you don't expect the corners to degrade this much this fast. Once the corners degrade, your phone could fall out of the case and even if it doesn't the corners of your phone are basically unprotected and can get scratched or cracked while INSIDE the case. If you contact apple support about the manufacturers warranty they will state its "normal wear and tear" and make you go through hoops to even find out if they will honor their warranty. I would get another magsafe or third party case and stay away from these.

Silicone layer degrades right away

I have used Apple iPhone cases for years, but the Silicone cases for iPhone 12 pros are not durable. I kept my first two for about a year before replacing them because the silicone had degraded, exposing the plastic inner case. I bought one this year, and within two weeks, the silicone had worn away as much as it had in a year with the previous cases. A pity, because it feels good in the hand. I'll never buy another one.

My very expensive iPhone 12pro had its back glass shattered due to the weak, flimsy case. The look of this case is very nice but it's ability to protect the iPhone is extremely poor. After one month and a broken phone, I had to return it. Poor decision to think this would protect my costly iPhone 12pro 256gb.

This is the flimsiest case I've ever purchased. It cracked within a month. It seemed solid at first and great texture. However this crack happened with no rough handling. Pulling from my pocket and no drops. Of course the window to return or exchange just closed... really annoyed at what I spent on this to get such awful quality.

The silicone coating started peeling away from the hard plastic base after about 6 months. I’ve tried repairing with Sugru but new spots continue to peel. The high cost of this case is not worth it — it’s the most poorly made Apple product I’ve bought in 20+ years of being an Apple customer.

I have had this case for a bit more than 3 months. The corners are peeling and chipping. I am an adult and rarely drop my phone. All that I can assume is that this damage is occurring as it moves around in my purse. I always buy silicone cases for their durability, but I have never had a case do this.
As much as this thing cost, I would never have believed that it would be so poorly made.

Absolute garbage! Apple doesn't honor warranties on their cases

Do you like throwing away $50? If you do, buy this case. The case looks good but it's built extremely poorly. The bottom port is so thin that it broke within 2 days of ownership. Now I'm past my return policy and Apple refuses to do anything. Don't waste your money
