You can't go wrong with Robert Greene. In "The 33 Strategies of War" he gives us lessons for confronting the social struggles of everyday life, each culled from an essential warfare tactic. In doing so, we're presented with a wealth of military history, fascinating biographies of some of humanity's greatest leaders, and an expertly-written guide on how to apply the wisdom of the past to our struggles of the present.
I found this book to be peerless in its breadth, humbling, and tremendously enjoyable. Please do yourself a favor and pick it up!
