Let me preface this review by saying I love this watch, it's design, and it's functionality. It's GPS is super accurate, as is the heart rate calculation. The battery easily lasts me two weeks.

The Instinct Crossover, however, has a terrible design flaw. If you leave an indoor environment and enter anything at or below 40 degrees F, the entire watch develops condensation on the inside of the glass. It stays condensated until you enter a warm environment. The watch is rendered useless while outside, as the condensation covers most of the display and obscures information.

I've spoken to Garmin, and they claim that this is perfectly normal and referred me to a link on their site discussing it.

I know people with other non-hybrid Garmin watches, and this does not happen to them. My theory is that it has to do with the greater separation between the glass and display due to the hands.

This is unacceptable for $400, especially in a watch geared for outdoor use (it even has skiing as an activity for tracking). I wish beyond anything that I could get a refund, but am past my return period. Don't make the same mistake I did.
