- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2022I bought two keyboard cases to see which one I liked best. My reasons for stating this TYPECASE FLEXBOOK IS THE BEST and returning the BABG iPad Keyboard Case is as follows:
- Solid & sturdy w/ a metal hinge (the BABG was very flimsy and the hinge was a smaller diameter)
- Accurate & familiar keyboard (the BABG keyboard had the page up key in the location of the right shift key so any time I capitalized a letter the curser would move up and I’d suddenly be typing in the wrong place! And since I don’t always watch the keyboard as I’m typing, I’d type quite a bit before I realized my page was all mixed up. Grrrr.)
- Lid closes straight (perhaps I just a lemon, but the BABG case I got closed a little crooked so I had to straighten the top to match the bottom and the top easily slid across the bottom out of alignment again)
- The hole for the camera is just large enough for my finger to push the ipad out of the case when I need to (the BABG was difficult to get my ipad out).
- It DOES have a pencil holder! The specs did not check pencil holder, but it does indeed have a pencil holder and it is made of better quality vinyl than the BABG’s holder.
- The outside of the case is somewhat matte. I would prefer even more matte or some kind of texture like my old Zagg case had, but at least it was better than the BABG’s case which was SO slick it showed lots of fingerprints and was not as easy to grip with my arthritic fingers. But, even if I didn’t have arthritis, the smudged fingerprints looked gross.
- Instructions written in perfect English!! (the BABG had the typical foreign written instructions).
In summary, get the Typecase Flexbook, it’s awesome!
