  I have read everything I can get my hands on regarding the Punc wars, and this has got to be the most educational and exhilarating treatment of this veritable turning point in the history of the Roman Republic. The author definitely has a way with words that is charming, amusing, and insightful. This is a must read for any and all Roman history fans and fanatics like myself.
