Customer Review

The cool parts first since credit where credit is due. The whoop is very accurate at analyzing some parameters that other fitness trackers don’t do very well, HOWEVER they place wayyyy too much faith in their “strain” and “recovery” metrics which just in the three months I’ve had the band, have had nothing to do with how hard I’ve actually felt I was working out, nor how good I felt the next day. Additionally, no display whatsoever so it provides no utility even as a watch, and to be honest, maybe steps aren’t the most important metric, but it’s nice to know roughly how active I’ve been in a day and whoop doesn’t provide even that basic information anywhere. This might be a product geared at those really looking to optimize health and fitness in every way, but for what they charge versus what they provide it’s frankly insulting. I’ve never had a Fitbit as bad as this whoop, in fact, I enjoy not wearing any watch or fitness tracker more than the whoop. It’s also practically impossible to cancel, customer service is slow and inefficient, and there’s nothing special about the band itself which you can’t even use if you don’t keep paying the ridiculous subscription cost. Save your money, get a garmin or Fitbit
