- Reviewed in the United States on November 29, 2024I have no clue as to why some have given this poor reviews! I wanted to upgrade my nearly 10 year old Echo because it wasn't cutting it very well. Much of my home is automated and/or Smart Devices, with multiple Echo devices throughout my home, so I needed something to be able to handle it all. Having read the reviews for this, which were at the time around 60% 5 stars, I decided to go with it anyway. I was excited to have something that was easy to use, easy setup, easy to maintain. For me, this did not disappoint from the moment I took it our of the box. Here's a little rundown on the last 7+ months.
1) Easy to follow setup instructions
2) Automatically connected to all of my automated devices, including other Echo devices, Smart thermostat, numerous Ring cameras, lights, TV, and more
3) Easily mounted to wall and looks very discreet
4) ZERO issues connecting to everything from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, phones, and more
5) On screen display looks great with clear view of apps, multi-cameras, weather, music and more
6) Zero lag in command following
7) Clear voice response with excellent volume
8) Easy to hide cord storage
There are SEVERAL more features to list, but I'm tired of typing! I cannot think of any issues to list as a Con. I am very tech savvy, so any possible issues were no issues. Included is a photograph of it mounted in my living room. It includes a long power cord and template to mount to a wall or use as a desk top device (requires an additional stand purchased separately). I hope this review helps!
