I'd seen a few talks by the author, Ryan Holiday. While I liked a lot of what he said, I put him in the same category as people like Gary Vaynerchuk and Timothy Ferriss. People that make money telling me to 'crush it' and 'only work 4-hours a week'.
Stillness is the Key is different. It's a thought provoking. Filled with good advice on how to live better, how to deal with situations outwith our control, etc. The kind of advice that has been around for thousands of years, but most of us manage to ignore. It's a small book. The content is accessible. And it's relatively inexpensive. I say 'go buy it'.
