Customer Review

Mainly I wanted to track recovery and use the HRV numbers. But I'm not sure I trust the numbers Whoop gives us. Sometimes I feel good and HRV is lower, and other times I feel bad and HRV is higher. It just seems like random numbers to me.

The real problem though is I don't know where Whoop gets its numbers. It doesn't explain or justify its methods. Maybe the method it uses is good and sound, but it doesn't explain it. And as far as I can see they use some type of AI to play around stress and recovery levels.

I just want raw data. Instead they give me AI numbers and no one knows how they do it and where it comes from and their justification.

Secondly, the watch is uncomfortable. I don't like sleeping with a watch. And I can't use it in BJJ. Whoop doesn't really properly explain its methods and if this watch and their methods will work if I take it off during my BJJ class, or if their AI extrapolations will breakdown.

Third, when I went to cancel now, I can't find the option on their app. So they lock me into a recurring membership, then there is no cancel option. Just the option to switch between month to month and annual membership. Kind of scammy. I'm full out on Whoop.
