Pros: Good size; comfortable to hold; easy to read through; glides on beautifully with no smearing or clumps - anyone complaining of this must be pressing down hard and coloring like a crayon! Needs only a light touch.Cons: Difficult to write over, so be sure to write your note or label before coloring it; except for purple, yellow and blue, barrel colors do not match color laid down (I labeled the markers to solve this); yellow and green barrels will lay down yellow and pale, pale green on regular paper but on bible pages are indistinguishable, as I show in the photo, thus making the set effectively have one less color; the light pink and darker pink colors are very close, as are the light orange and dark orange, so not as much variety as I’d hoped.

    The best highlighters I’ve ever used. And my youth group agrees. I let my church youth group borrow these highlighters for an activity we were doing, and they all said these were fantastic highlighters. They loved them so much they asked to keep them. But I just couldn’t part with them. Maybe I’ll have to buy more.

    I love Mr. Pen products. I’m never disappointed in anything and these highlighters are exceptional for Bible study. They’re gel, they don’t dry out (even if you leave the cap off), they’re easy to keep sharpened, and the quality of the product is just overa great. I always curious about the colors that I don’t have and this is fantastic to have so many to use and learn about the various colors. Once in a while I pick up an adult coloring book just to enjoy for a while. These will be perfect for that as well. These pens do not bleed over or through pages. Perfect in functionality, and it’s so easy to pick up to use. I keep them all handy on my table, and I have made purchases of the yellow highlighter pens and the black fine line Bible notation pens for friends and family at church. If you’ve never true Mr. Pen then try these, especially if you’re looking for color. The company is small, family owned, extremely friendly, and with everything you get there’s always the personal ‘thank you’ card, a card with their information and promise to stand behind every product, plus the trademark Mr. Pen mustache which is too much fun. I advertise for them by word of mouth and showing their products. Nothing had ever gone wrong, but if something does then they will make it right. Thanks to Amazon I found them. Wonderful company, great products!

    These are nice. They glide well and have good, bright color. They do occasionally get a slight rough spot on them, which can come off on the paper and leave a bit of a bump. (All of my gel highlighters have done this, not uniquely this set.) That can be scraped off pretty easily, and I'm getting better at applying the color so this happens less often. It was a bit frustrating at first.
    Overall, I like all the Mr. Pen products I have tried, and this is no different.

    It's really good for coloring in your Bible, if you like to do that, but could also be used for any highlighting job. They put the color on top of the page instead of into the page, so they do not bleed through at all.

    Of you have kids, these are perfect! These aren't your typical hi-lighters. These aren't 'wet'. These aren't crayons,.as they are true highlighters. I've just never seen or used anything of the sort, but I love them!

    They won't dry out of you accidently leave the cap off

    I really like these markers. They are made out of some sort of crayon material, so they don’t bleed through at all. I really like the color variety, however, since the highlighters don’t use ink, the colors aren’t as rich. The colors aren’t as rich as the ink highlighters, since they don’t use ink that can bleed through the paper. Also, you have to be gentle with these highlighters. Since they use crayon material/wax to highlight, they must be used gently just like a crayon. The wax can break off onto the paper if you press too hard (see in picture), and for me, I often press too hard. I love these highlighters, and they are my new favorite, but keep 2 things in mind: The colors aren’t as rich and vibrant, and you must apply gently. Other than that, great product.

The only way to get true green is by mixing the light green and the blue. Also, it does make my Bible pages kinda stick together. It doesn’t cause any damage, but it can still be annoying. Consider this information before buying. I hope this helps.

    I have purchased several items from Mr. Pen and loved them. However for this particular pastel colour of highlighter is not great for highlighting, the highlight colour gives off an opague look. Unfortunately.

    It’s says its no bleed but it does still bleed through to the next page not the best for bibles however better than normal highlighter and they claim to have have a 100 satisfaction guaranteed policy but when u contact them they don’t want to deal with it because they you didn’t buy it through them.

    Perfect for my Bible, pastel blue and regular blue are the same. They are getting used pretty fast. I’m not sure if I would repurchase or simply use color pencils instead.
