    This case for ~$50 is less durable than your average $20 case. In the months during covid, when you are not out and about, when your phone is basically on your desk all day, you don't expect the corners to degrade this much this fast. Once the corners degrade, your phone could fall out of the case and even if it doesn't the corners of your phone are basically unprotected and can get scratched or cracked while INSIDE the case. If you contact apple support about the manufacturers warranty they will state its "normal wear and tear" and make you go through hoops to even find out if they will honor their warranty. I would get another magsafe or third party case and stay away from these.

    I got this case specifically so I could use the mag adapter without having to remove the case. I wasn't sure how well a silicone case would hold up, but it's actually held up very well. It's wearing just a little at a couple of the corners, but fine otherwise. It's held up fine for two years now and I could see it lasting another two. If you are on the fence about getting one of these, I wouldn't hesitate.
