I don't like purchasing insurance on products because too often the hassle to get something replaced isn't worth the bother or extra money, but for a few dollars, I thought I'd chance it when I bought my Fitbit. Turns out, it was worth every penny, and the coverage under ASURION was better than the Fitbit that dimmed so badly I couldn't read it anymore. My husband had the same issue with his Fitbit and had the same insurance coverage. The process of refunding/replacing through ASURION for both of us was quick and easy, resulting in a prepaid return label that, as soon as the item was dropped off at UPS and scanned, resulted in a quick refund (credit). Fast and easy, no hassle. Definitely worth it.

I almost forgot that I had purchased a 3 year coverage for my underwater mp3 player 2 years ago. This is a wonderful headset for swimming and I use it 3 times a week. The little swimbuds for my ears, sadly, don't last but a year at best. The replacements are more than half the cost of the whole set. So I knew the need for that extra coverage. I already replaced this set's ear buds and was getting ready to spend more when I remembered Asurion.
I contacted them and the phone call took 5 minutes, some verification and done. They had me send the whole set to them (pre-paid) and they sent me the credit or gift card to Amazon the day I dropped off my package to UPS. I re-ordered from Amazon and in less that a week the whole transaction was completed.
Very happy.
I did notice that this time I wasn't offered the usual coverage. I think they have moved to a monthly fee for insurance on all products so I chose not to go that route.

Purchased a Hystorm G98 Health Smart Watch 15 months ago. Among it's many features was Blood Glucose. It was ballpark accurate for Blood Sugar and Blood Pressure and accurate for everything else. It worked well for 15 months and then suddenly the green light which shined from the back of the watch to sense bio functions suddenly died and the watch would not show the usual Always On Display of time. Attempts to do factory reset were useless. I contacted Asurion and explained the watch failure and they immediately provided a full refund via Amazon gift card.
