Update: I am chaning my review to 5 stars because I am enjoying the book and I want my review to reflect that instead of the condition of the book. The author should not get a low rating because of the condition of the book. Amazon is sending me a replacement with no hassle. Awesome! THE BOOK HAS A PHOTO SECTION IN THE MIDDLE (See pics!) Also, while the book only has 286 numbered pages, that is the same amount of NUMBERED pages as the original. The original book and this one both have 286 numbered pages (1 - 286) as well as the "About the Author," the Table of Contents, and the Foreword. Those pages add up to the number of pages in the Amazon description. AND, I have both copies of this book. The books are IDENTICAL in every way except for this version has a different cover, is slightly smaller (fractions of an inch taken from the margins), and costs less money. Otherwise, this book is just like the earlier version of American Murder Houses. Word-for-Word AND all of the pictures in the photo section - just like the earlier version.
