Whether you like this movie depends on whether you like movies that have reasonably clean protagonists and how you feel about a main character with a disabling illness. Or maybe on just how you like Liam N. in a role contrary to one he usually plays. Otherwise, this movie repackages several familiar tropes from various action movies as it tells the story of a hitman who reaches his limit and decides to take justice into his own hands before he dies.

Se pur meno iconico dei thriller diretti dal buon Jaume Collet Serra in precedenza, come Unknown o Non stop. Questo thriller/Action sopratutto strizza l’occhio più a quest’ultimo. Lasciando comunque una buona dose di adrenalina ed il giusto pizzico di suspanse allo spettatore. Mix perfetto quando a dar quel valore aggiunto ad un film, che altrimenti potrebbe passare in sordina, c’è l’intramontabile William Neeson! Con un’altra figura di spicco del cinema che non ha bisogno di presentazioni come Guy Pearce (Non aver paura del buio-Memento-Infernal machine). Film stra godibile…con un pizzico anche di sentimentalismo che non guasta mai. 8+

IL RESTO LO RACCONTA BENE IL FILM DIPANATO TRA AZIONE, RIFLESSIONE ED ANALISI DEGLI EVENTI DA PARTE DI CHI, DOVENDO INVESTIGARE, SI AFFIANZA INVECE AD UN PROFESSIONISTA DEL TIRO DI PRECISIONE.
MOLTI FILM PER TENERE IL TEMPO FANNO UCCIDERE MOLTE PERSONE, EBBENE, QUESTO PUR RISPARMIANDO QUALCUNO NON NE FA SENTIRE LA MANCANZA.
