Organizations of all sizes deserve a highly efficient and productive marketing team, not just the largest companies in the world like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Oracle.
Cloudflare Lays the Foundation for Leed’s Generative CMS
The Developer Platform is instrumental in the Leed team’s tech stack. Cloudflare Workers powers the entire backend of Leed’s Generative CMS. It provides all the necessary components to support their scalable event-driven architecture. The core Cloudflare technologies in their stack are: Workers & Pages, Workers KV, D1, Queues, Durable Objects, Browser Rendering, Workers AI, R2, Stream, Images, Turnstile, and Vectorize. Together, this allows Leed to provide their customers with collaborative marketing tools and operational capabilities, as well as a full digital analytics suite including a recommendation engine. Additionally, Leed is able to simplify the delivery of an advanced customer experience because they take advantage of powerful functionality like service-bindings to allow a single worker deployment for all customer capabilities.
The Leed system takes full advantage of Cloudflare Pages to deploy and deliver a completely optimized website for their customers staging and production environments, providing the plethora of benefits offered by Cloudflare and its market leading CDN directly to their customers. Leed’s Generative CMS enables users to upload all their digital assets directly to the system via a robust asset management interface. This is backed by R2 (for documents and audio), Stream (for video), and Images. Cloudflare Images support for a variety of image resolutions and optimized file formats provides Leed’s customers’ websites an optimized experience for each and every device type.
The Leed developers leverage Cloudflare to serve WebRTC for collaborative editing and commenting. The team pairs this with a durable object to ensure commenting and editing remain fast and persistent.
Finally, after testing large models in AWS and Cerebrium, the Leed development team selected Workers AI for all their LLM models. These support a litany of use cases including generating article summaries, landing page copy and even alt text descriptions for images in their asset manager, all in real time. Workers AI allows the team to run multiple models in parallel for use cases like keyword extraction. If the LLM fails to offer a sufficient result, a Rake model is executed as a fallback. Every piece of content in the system is run through Workers AI to save Leed’s customers time and effort in delivering all the benefits of their Generative CMS.
