2016 WAC men's soccer tournament

The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) is an NCAA Division I conference. The WAC covers a broad expanse of the western United States with member institutions located in Arizona, California, New Mexico, Texas, Utah and Washington.

The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) is a college athletic conference with members located mostly in the western United States, although it now has members as far east as Pennsylvania. The conference participates at the NCAA Division I level, primarily in Olympic sports that are not directly sponsored by a school's home conference.

The Incarnate Word Cardinals, also known as UIW Cardinals, are composed of 23 teams representing the University of the Incarnate Word in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, and track and field. Men's sports include baseball and football. Women's sports include softball, synchronized swimming, and volleyball. The Cardinals compete in NCAA Division I and are members of the Southland Conference. UIW has sent multiple fencers to compete in multiple NCAA Fencing Championships. On November 12, 2021, Incarnate Word accepted their invitation to join the Western Athletic Conference in 2022. However, on June 24, 2022, just one week before the change of conferences was scheduled to take place, Incarnate Word announced that it would remain in the Southland Conference.

The Grand Canyon Antelopes are the 21 athletic teams representing Grand Canyon University, located in Phoenix, Arizona. Most of the university's athletic teams compete at the NCAA Division I level in the Western Athletic Conference. Men's volleyball competes in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) effective beginning in the 2017–18 academic year. The beach volleyball program competes as an independent.

The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. They are a member of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). As of 2020 they are led by head coach Bryce Drew and play their home games at the GCU Arena. They made the jump to NCAA Division I and joined the WAC on July 1, 2013.

The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's soccer program represents Grand Canyon University in all NCAA Division I men's college soccer competitions. Founded in 1985, the Antelopes have competed in the Western Athletic Conference since 2013. The Lopes are coached by Mike Kraus. GCU plays its home matches at GCU Stadium.

They were led by head coach Dan Majerle in his fourth season at Grand Canyon. The Antelopes played their home games at the GCU Arena in Phoenix, Arizona as members of the Western Athletic Conference.

The 2013 Western Athletic Conference men's soccer season is the eighth season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. The conference first sponsored the sport in 1996, but after eight schools split from the WAC in 1999 to form the Mountain West Conference (MW), the WAC only played the 1999 season before disbanding its men's soccer league.

The 2017–18 Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represented Grand Canyon University during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by head coach Dan Majerle in his fifth season at Grand Canyon. The Antelopes played their home games at the GCU Arena in Phoenix, Arizona as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 22–12, 9–5 in WAC play to finish in third place. They defeated UMKC and Utah Valley to advance to the championship game of the WAC tournament where they lost to New Mexico. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to Mercer.

The 2018 Western Athletic Conference men's soccer season is the 23rd consecutive competition of men's college soccer in the Western Athletic Conference under the 2018 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. The season will feature twelve teams, where five are affiliate members of the conference. Air Force, San Jose State, and UNLV will compete from the Mountain West Conference, while Houston Baptist and Incarnate Word come from the Southland Conference. Colleges in the WAC will begin competition on August 24, 2018, and conclude on November 9, 2018 after the 2018 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. Prior to the NCAA Division I Tournament Championship, there will be a postseason conference tournament held in Seattle, Washington at the Championship Field, where the winner is guaranteed to represent the WAC in the NCAA Division I Tournament. The California Baptist Lancers are ineligible for postseason as they are in transition to the NCAA Division I level. Chicago State and New Mexico State have defunct programs in this season.

The 2018–19 Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They are led by head coach Dan Majerle in his sixth season at Grand Canyon. The Antelopes play their home games at the GCU Arena in Phoenix, Arizona as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 20–14, 10–6 in WAC play to finish in third place. They defeated Seattle and Utah Valley to advance to the championship game of the WAC tournament where they lost to New Mexico State. They were invited to the College Basketball Invitational where they lost in the first round to West Virginia.

The 2019 Western Athletic Conference men's soccer season will be the 37th season of men's varsity soccer in the conference. The regular season will begin on August 30, 2019 and conclude on November 2, 2019.

The 2020 Grand Canyon men's soccer team represented Grand Canyon University during the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. It was the 36th season of the Grand Canyon men's soccer team.

The 2020–21 Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represented Grand Canyon University during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They are led by head coach Bryce Drew in his first season. The Antelopes play their home games at GCU Arena in Phoenix, Arizona as members of the Western Athletic Conference. They finished the season 17–7, 9–3 in WAC Play to finish a tie for the regular season championship. They defeated Seattle and New Mexico State to win the WAC tournament. They received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament where they lost in the first round to Iowa.
