Checking for completeness before marking for translation

Hi. Are you checking with the original contributor to the completeness of a page prior to marking for translation? I saw a comment that page may have been marked prior to its readiness. We probably need to look to a mechanism to hve this sign. Either a note on the page's talk page, or simply the use and then removal of {{under construction}}.  — billinghurst sDrewth 04:48, 30 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Billinghurst, usually I check pages for completeness before marking it for translation. However, if the creator or main author wants a page to be marked for translation I do it and tend to be less precisely in checking for completeness. That is maybe a bit too hasty. So I think your suggestion with the "Template:Under construction" is a very good idea! --Brackenheim (talk) 23:35, 30 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Travel guide translatability

Hi Brackenheim,

I am editing the 2019:Travel guide quite heavily at the moment. I suspect that I have kind of disrupted or destroyed quite some translation tags; I am not used to editing with translation tags. Would you like to go through the code seeing to it that it's not completely broken? Bearing in mind that I will continue to edit? Eric Luth (WMSE) (talk) 08:56, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Eric Luth, no problem, I can try to fix it. Maybe it would be best, if you tell me, when you have finished editing that page. Then we will not get in each other's way. --Brackenheim (talk) 09:01, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Ok, everything fixed :-) --Brackenheim (talk) 11:07, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
