We were absolutely thrilled to see our 'Digital Star' 2023 winner Wakuda attending a reception at 10 Downing Street to celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth! The reception was held earlier this month to celebrate the contributions Black people have made in the UK, with Wakuda being recognised for the work they do. Wakuda is an online marketplace for cultural gifts and lifestyle products from talented independent African and Caribbean brands. Childhood friends Albert and Nathaniel co-founded Wakuda 2020 to support Black-owned independents and creators, and to bring human connection back to the shopping experience.
