I love interview season. The best piece of interview advice I heard from a former Oxford admissions tutor is that an academic interview is a conversation rather than a performance. Skills of collaboration and responsiveness are welcomed above strong, fixed opinions or "right answers". I always find that this reassures students who are preparing for their university interviews. This is our busiest week of the year so far with our teams at Oxbridge Applications, The Medic Portal and A-List Education UK running 33 events with our partners at Westminster School, London, Wellington College, Rugby School, Benenden School, Putney High School, Marlborough College, James Allen's Girls' School, University College School, Cardiff Sixth Form College and many more.

Oxbridge Applications are back in the office today following a successful Interview Preparation Weekend. Theo Boyce, Alice R., Kate Auty and Ella P. smashed the logistics, seamlessly running workshops, tutorials and 430 mock interviews for almost 100 students.
