ADIN is run entirely by a dedicated group of volunteers, all of whom are looking to find the very best outcomes for local dogs seeking new homes. 🏠 The rescue charity needs help in finding new foster and forever homes and all £ raised goes directly towards paying for vets, trainers and behaviourists. (Or the slightly less of a mouthful #NCSAM). #NCSAM is an annual campaign held throughout October that focuses on raising awareness about the importance of cyber security in today’s increasingly connected world. It aims to improve our knowledge of security risks, adopt safe online practices, and enhance our overall digital security. 💡As you’ll already know, at Comprendo we have a lot to say about cyber security, but we’ve managed to select 5 practices which we think are the most effective for protecting both individuals and businesses against security breaches: 1. Back Up your critical Data to secure and accessible locations, so you don’t lose your information in the event of a cyber-attack, fire, theft etc. 2. Be aware of common Cyber Threats, such as phishing, malware, and ransomware, and how to recognize and avoid them. 3. Update your Software so that your devices, operating systems, and software applications are protected with the latest security patches. 4. Use strong and unique Passwords for all your online accounts and consider using a password manager. 5. Turn on Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Use 2FA wherever possible to add an extra layer of security to your accounts. 🔒 We can help with all of these cyber security safeguards, such as anti-malware software, password management tools and phishing / security training for your staff.
