Another year, another goal crushed by the Vuori community. Over the past two weeks, 73,840 of you walked, ran, and biked your way through over 2.7 MILLION MILES! To celebrate, our friends at Vuori will unlock 38.5 million liters of clean and safe water with an incredibly generous donation. We are so grateful for your commitment to ending the water crisis one (literal) step at a time. Thank you for joining us in this essential work 💛

We bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries
About us
charity: water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Since 2006, we've funded more than 171,000 water projects in 29 developing countries. When complete, these projects will provide clean, safe drinking water for more than 19.2 million people. 703 million people don’t have access to clean drinking water, that's one in ten of us. Diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. The good news: there are simple solutions, from deep drilled wells to water filtration systems. With the help of 1 million+ donors and individual fundraisers, we've raised over $796M for both water and operations, forming a strong force against the water crisis. Join us!

Clean water is something we can all agree on. It’s a fact our #charitywater community proved yet again over the course of #AWeekendForWater in Nashville, Tennessee. Thank you to The Well, Conserva Irrigation, and Fill it Forward for making this event — and our 100% model — possible. And to all of you who joined us, thank you for traveling from near and far to attend, for believing, as we do, that clean water changes everything — and for bringing that belief to life. We are so grateful for each and every one of you 💛

This weekend we kicked off A Weekend for Water with our annual Brand Partner Summit. We gathered in Nashville with some of our closest partners to listen, learn, and celebrate the generous contributions that have brought clean water to millions of people around the world. Here are just a few highlights from the day: - Hearing Life is Good co-founder Bert Jacobs tell the heartwarming and humorous story of starting his positive lifestyle brand. Your optimism is contagious. - Learning about the series of revelations that inspired Krish to start Do Amore. Since 2015, these ethically made and beautiful rings have benefited clean water. - Inviting Carli Casey to the stage on behalf of PDS Health — our longest-running partner at 15 years. We love that you’ve felt cared for — even “spoiled” — as a supporter all these years. - Welcoming our newest brand partner Cisco aboard! Thank you for helping us further our functionality and Sensors program. - Finally, celebrating our incredible partner who have committed to bringing clean water to at least one million people. Thank you, Kalahari Resorts & Conventions charity: water President Melissa Russell said it best: “It is a special gift to have power, but then to use that power for good. That’s why I’m proud of and grateful for the Brand Partners at charity: water.”

Whether you’re a pour-over purist or can’t resist a frothy cappuccino, coffee is a universal love language. But … there’s no coffee without water. Today, in honor of #InternationalCoffeeDay, we’re raising our mugs to our brand partners for their continued support of clean water, including Volcanica Coffee, HOST Coffee Roaster, and the New York Coffee Festival. Because when we all come together, great things start brewing.

Devi used to spend four hours each day walking across India’s Thar Desert to collect water for her family. Today, she has a #charitywater-funded rainwater harvesting tank only steps from her house. What used to take hours now takes minutes, thanks to your support.

Transparency has always been important to us — and we know it's important to you, too. It’s why we began with the bold promise we still live by today: 100% of all public donations bring clean water to people around the world. Bringing clean water to rural communities means building water projects in some of the most remote locations on Earth. We knew we needed to monitor our wells from afar, but no tool existed. So, we set out to make one. Our sensors equip local leaders with real-time performance data, monitoring 25 million liters of water each month. But it’s not just our water points that benefit: More than 20 organizations around the world are piloting our sensors to help improve their own projects. We’re committed to bringing sustainable access to clean water to as many people as possible — and sensors help us do just that. Learn more about this cutting-edge technology and how you can help push it forward at charitywater.org/sensors.
